Thunder Child is a flush decked variant of the William Atkin classic double-ender, 'Clione' skillfully interpreted in yellow cedar and red oak. Robustly constructed and traditionally rigged, she is instantly recognized as the nautical aristocrat in any anchorage.

This is the first offering for sale since her original purchase from builder, Andrew V Okultich (Vancouver, BC) in 1974. She is a blue-water design with accommodations adapted for comfortable coastal cruising and live aboard potential. A rugged, sea kindly character vessel totally suited for North West Coast adventure.

Regular Upkeep

Spring 2011, installation of new carving on external face of exterior cabin by renowned Coast-Salish carver Richard Krentz.  Fall 2010 regular deck maintenance. Winter 2010 mast and mizzen completely refurbished along with standing rigging. Fall 2009 bottom cleaned, painted and inspected for insurance purposes. Survey available upon request.
